There is often much discussion about the symbols that are utilized in Freemasonry. Some non-freemasons or those that feel that they are a cult suggest that their symbols are synchronized with devil worship. Freema­sons stip­u­late that the mis­con­cep­tion of them be­ing dev­il wor­ship­pers is a mis­con­strued in­ter­pre­ta­tion of the Bible tak­en out of con­text.

If Freema­son­ry seems to be some­thing that many peo­ple are fa­mil­iar with why is it dubbed a se­cret so­ci­ety? It is not a new or­ga­ni­za­tion and its known roots go back to the 1700’s and prob­a­bly be­yond that. There has al­so been said that the Ma­sons are a very se­cre­tive or­ga­ni­za­tion and it would seem that there are nev­er two iden­ti­cal ex­pla­na­tions about ex­act­ly whom they are, or what they stand for
